The Braille Lite Millennium, series M40, is a Braille notetaker designed for individuals who are blind or have low vision. Input is through a an eight-dot Perkins-style Braille keyboard, and output is through a 40-character refreshable Braille display and an adjustable speech synthesizer. The Braille Lite M40 features a 56K modem, e-mail capabilities, word processing, quick one-key commands, and 14 megabytes (MB) of internal memory. Use of removable SanDisk CompactFlash cards allows virtually unlimited file storage. WhizWheels allow the user to scroll through documents rapidly and easily. WinDisk software (included) allows the user to easily transfer files to a personal computer. The Braille Lite M40 comes with a leather carrying case and strap, documentation, and cables.
