Floor Cleaning Robot is designed to assist with mopping the floor for individuals with limited mobility associated with arthritis, back injuries, upper extremity disabilities and multiple sclerosis. The Robot is designed to go in a straight line to clean your floor. This model does not have a turning system and you will need to know how to wire a motor with a switch to complete this project.

Additional materials needed
A remote control car

Technical Specifications:

Step 1: Building the Base and the Wheels
The base is very simple.
1. Start by taping the edges of the cable box. (They are usually very sharp this is not required). Do not use tape to cover all of the holes.
2. Position your wheels under the box. Make sure that they fit under the cable box. If they do not you will need to take a craft stick and glue it on the wheels. Hot Glue works well for this. Using two craft sticks will make the wheels fell much stronger and they will not wobble as much (the author recommends omitting this step. It will make step 3 easier)
3. Take the cable box and the wheels. Put some hot glue on the top of the craft stick and stick it on the back of the cable box.

Step 2: Add the mop (sponge)
Please refer to the pictures on the author’s website to complete this step.

Step 3: Step 3 Adding the Water and Power Supplies
Please refer to the pictures on the author’s website to complete this step.
